Dunkirk (LFAK)
Description
Dunkirk Les-Moëres aerodrome is located in France, in the town of Moëres in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region, 12 km east of Dunkirk.
During World War I, an airfield already existed. It passed into the hands of a Belgian squadron commanded by Captain Fernand Jacquet. King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy and King Albert I of Belgium went there together.
This flying club is authorized to train and issue licenses for non-professional pilots.
