Description

Bush trips are often rather touristy circuits.
For a change, here is a technological and tourist circuit: a tour of France taking you over the 21 French power stations and several well-known tourist sites.

Very important: before launching the mission, it is necessary to load these two add-ons into Community to see the power stations and the effects (smoke, steam):

1 - "We Love VFR - Region 1" (free on flightsim.to)
2 - "Photo tiles of power plants in France" (downloadable for free from simvol.org)

NB: if you have the add-on "Obstacles and benchmarks VFR V4.1.0 - FRANCE for MSFS" (paid), you do not need "We Love VFR".

The power plant tour of France begins with a takeoff from Lille – Lesquin airport aboard Asobo's TBM930 and ends in Châteauroux-Déols.

It is necessary to have a fairly fast plane because some stages are quite long.
However, if you are not familiar with this plane, you can choose another using the "Mission Changer" software from BuffyGC, the author of the bush trip creation tool "BushTripInjector".
You will find "Mission Changer" on its website: https://www.bushtripinjector.de/

The file for this bush trip is placed in the Community directory.

The characteristics of this bush trip:

- 8 steps,
- TBM930 aircraft from Asobo, started at the end of runway 26 of LFQQ,
- no site markers, an image of the point to reach. You must follow the headings and distances indicated in the navigation log,
- flights can, for the most part, be done at between 1000 and 2000 ft, except for mountainous passages (Massif-Central and Jura),
- the weather can be changed so as not to be in the clouds and enjoy flights over industrial and tourist sites,
- flight validation is done by applying the parking brake.

Notes:

1 - At the end of the step, there is no success percentage (limitation of BushTripInjector).
2 - All waypoints are accompanied by a photo in the navigation log.
3 - This mission is automatically bilingual (FR-EN).
4 - The mission is in "multiplayer" mode.
If necessary, one of the speakers creates a group and invites the other participants. As everyone will start the stage systematically in the same place, it will be necessary to join the mission in turn and move a few meters to make room for the next one.
5 - In the real world, flying over power plants is of course strictly prohibited and this mission is only offered to you for recreational purposes.
6 - All power plants have their contact details on the EDF or CEA websites, and their description is published on these sites.

NB:
- if you want to track your flight on Little Navmap, use this file:
IFR Lesquin (LFQQ) to Déols (LFLX).lnmpln,
- if you have Simbrief, it's this file:
IFR Lesquin (LFQQ) to Deols (LFLX).pln,
- the flight plan is automatically loaded into the GPS (Garmin G3000) of the TBM930.
